Of course PMP rear sprocket with DID chain, and replaced all the rollers, chain guide on the swing arm and rear chain guide block. 8-)

I have not rebuilt the front brake system yet, but have gone with a Goodridge stainless brake line. I did replace the lever and cover up on the right handlebar for the system though. Got to have controls that are comfortable, and ended up changing the clutch lever and perch to a quick adjust setup as well.

A little closer….. I have had the bike running for a few weeks, went through the break-in per LA Sleeve instructions. The bike fires right up on 2-3 kicks when cold, but on 1 kick after it has been started for the day. During break-in I ran the carburetor settings on the rich side, but I’ve pretty much have it dialed back in for maximum power. It is almost scary at times, but just need to get used to it. I’ve been to the track a few times already. At first the suspension was a little soft for some of the jumps, but pretty much have it all set up for now.

Anyway, how much did all this cost to rebuild this bike to date must be a question.

Well, to date I have put $3780 into the bike rebuilding it. I paid $1000 for it, so $4780 invested in total.

None of this includes labor, but I have a machine that will run for another 20 years.

I know I could have bought a new machine, but that’s not the point. The point is doing what I enjoy doing, which is working on bikes.

Thanks for viewing. :)

Money is to be viewed as something that is required to live and not something required to exist. ;)
