OfflineNot necessarily back on the forum but literally back from the dead.
I imagine there were a couple of questions about what happened to Stan.
Three heart attacks in the last 6 months. One was a "killer". Luckily for me and my family, good Doctors and a little electricity have me typing tonight.
47 years old… so watch your cholesterol, if you smoke quit now…and always wear a helmet
Take care guys

OfflineGuys I hope you understand I wont be around much if at all on the forum. My internet time is reduced to checking emails and occasionally facebook. Every moment is precious.
On a motorcycle note. I was digging around in the garage yesterday. To my surprise I found this.

I am hopeful that your recovery will be thorough and quick.
It is always at the last minute that we finally realize that we have a one-way ticket since the day we got pushed out. No do overs and no second chances so we need to get it right the very first time. All I do for excercise is breathe and I always look forward to my next session while secretely thanking air for my last session.
Live long and prosper.

Jet, you better get on an exercise routine, you don't want to be in his position.
Can't be a good feeling…..
Hell yeah. It's definitely true. I have already come to terms with my limitations and try hard to mitigate. Stan is one of the lucky ones. I lost my bro at 51yo and it came and went just like that.
I know things aren't as solid as they used to be. I have beat this old body down neglectfully and with extreme prejudice.
So I'm reminded. On the opposite side of my brain, I have a strong urge to get to my final resting moment tired and worn the hell down. I can still put in a good 7 miles at a good pace a couple of times a week, but man is it getting harder and harder?!
The "long" snooze? Well, …why get there care free, with all your teeth or without scars?
